Now that you are an "active artist" on DefHog.com, one of the 1st things you are going to want to do is create a song for your profile. It is a very simple process so let's get started. You should see a small section in your "Control Panel" when you are logged in that says"create songs". Click on the "create song" link and you will be taken to the "Create Song" form. This form has text entry fields for all of the different information you can enter about a song. For now, enter a "name" for this new song into the "Song Name" field, and then scroll down towards the bottom of the form where you will see the section for "Song Files". The Song Files section allows you to choose a HIFI and a LOFI song file to "link" to this new song, as well as a Song Image. One of the important things to note on this screen is the "Maximum Combined Upload Size" dialog that is just below the "Song Files" separator. This small section shows what the LARGEST amount of data that can be uploaded is.

Next, click on the "Browse" button to the right side of the "Upload HIFI Song File" field,and select a small mp3 file from you hard drive. Finally, click on the "Add New Song" button at the bottom of the form, and be patient while your MP3 file is uploaded to DefHog, and the new song is created.
